We are proud of our Hafnium Oxide extrusions and the amazing technical applications that our customers find for them. Extruded tubes are useful for temperature measurement applications but there may be other problems that can be solved with this unique material. The range of sizes possible by extrusion is quite limited as well, with a limit of about 6 mm in solid cross section.
We have demonstrated the ability to press and machine some simple shapes. Our comfort zone is about 8 mm thick and 60 mm lateral dimensions, but please push our comfort zone if you have an opportunity! Future development will focus on slip casting methods to make vessels and other thin wall configurations. So keep those ideas coming!
